Subject Consultations and Early Closures

Early Closure Days

To ensure all families have access to parent consultation appointments, the school closes early five times throughout the academic year to all students

• Tuesday 20th October (for the year 11 consultations)
• Thursday 3rd December (for the year 10 consultations)
• Thursday 21st January (for the year 7 consultations)
• Wednesday 24th February (for the year 8 consultations)
• Thursday 15th April (for the year 9 consultations)

The year 12 consultation evening (24th March) and the year 13 consultation evening (26th January) are not early closures.

Also on the last day of the Autumn and Summer Term the school will close early:

• Friday 18th December
• Wednesday 21st July

On Early Closure Days the school will close at 1.35pm. Students travelling by bus will leave at the time. If parents/carers collect children, please be mindful of parking as the carpark will be very busy.

Booking your subject consultation

The school has an online appointment booking system which allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers. You will then receive an email confirming your appointments.

Letters regarding the subject consultation will be sent out close to the date, advising you when the booking system opens and closes for the event.

Buses depart 1.35pm onwards.
